JOHNSON FAMILY REUNION 2009

COVE FORT, UTAH
August 6th-8th, 2009
My grandparents were in Cove Fort Utah on a mission from February 2008 until February 2009 when my Grma got sick. We all met their for our first family reunion and it was fun to see a place my Grma was so passionate about. Built by the Hinckley family and impressive from head to toe. The kids loved seeing the people dressed up (like Grandpa), walking the booths, wagon rides, fort tour, eating hotdogs and chips and seeing family!

missing: Chrissy, Corey and Katey, Lindsay and Ryun and Rylin
and of course Grma (we miss you!)

Chase, Talea, Kelton
Maddi, CJ, Taelin
Maddi (11 months), CJ (1 yr.) and Taelin (19 months)
We call 'em cousins since they are. But for reals, Maddi and CJ would be my 1st cousins.

Kelton and his super hero Beau.

Wagon Rides. Tae and CJ LOVED the black horses. And Chase now talks about the chickens at were there and how he wants them. The little kids and accompaniers all went on these rides like 14 times. It was fun tho.

INDIAN MUSEUM
hyrogliphics (sp?) at the Indian Museum...it was interesting. We got Indian bracelets...well the cool ones :)
We went here on Friday morning and it was fun to look around and see all the cool sites.

BRYCE CANYON and MOSSY CAVE

We passed a sign for a mossy cave just a little up the way and ended up taking a good 2 hr. detour playing in a little river and the boys (jake, kyle and kelton) climbing up the sandstone structure that was SO high! It was a blast to have the kids in the water...and the trip home Chase coughed so hard he vomitted all over the place, which made Kelton vomit when he saw it, and then taelin's poopie mess and we FINALLY made it home. Sunday morning we were in the E.R. with Chase getting predisione for his breathing issues and we came home to everyone sick but me! Overall tho, we had a great time!

This little river kept the kids sane! I can't imagine not having Courtney's help. She was amazing and even tho they all got wet, it was SOOO worth it!

What a fun thing to see all about your grandmas passion. I have never been there, it looks so cool. Looks like you had a blast, sorry about the puke and poop!!!! =} I think the photo group would be so fun. I am loving my class, although I am the dumbest of the group! (pretty sure)
