Grandpa Choffin's Graduation- Dec. 14th, 2007, BYU-Idaho

Everyone wanted a picture with the "man of the night", Talea (5)

Just chillin' right before the ceremony. The first commencment ceremony, was at 5:00, and then this one at 7:00- so dinner (or holding over until dinner) for the moment, was a Milky Way. Afterwards we went to a great Chinease Resturant on Main Street...Fong's, YUMMY!

Grandma and Grandpa after the ceremony. I think this is seriously like the 3rd picture I have taken of them together, admist the caios- it doesn't happen too often!

Chase and Mommy, at the ceremony. He was in a good mood now, so thought we'd take advantage of it!! :)

Everyone was there...I"m still waiting on a family picture from someone else's camera...but Kyle, Corey, and Katie (Corey's girlfriend) all came from Boise and Pocatello for the event.

CONGRATULATIONS DAD! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!

Christmas Boys

Jake looks kinda drunk! :) Kelton and Daddy, while mommy tries to set up the camera.

All my boys, lookin' SO good!

Mr. Chase, not so happy. Kelton scratching, and the camera won't do the auto-timer...

Cute pic. if Chase wasn't screaming his head off. And we finish there! Ahh...holidays pictures- always so much fun! :)

December Fun!

WAITING FOR SANTA! Chase saw the big man and screamed, so Mommy got to be in the picture too! Thanks for being so patient guys!

Chase playing with the glue sticks while Kelton was putting together his reindeer bag that read JOY...he loves this bag!

The beginning of December, we went to Jake's work's Christmas Party. We take Talea each year, because Santa is there. The kids made fun craft bags, got to eat pizza, cookies and capri-sun and then met the big guy and got a toy from the elves. The company spends like 75% of it's budget on this party...the kids really enjoyed the fun time!

Day at the Beach: 11-23-07

The boys went to the beach today, and Kelton got a HUGE bucket of shells to bring home, he's cleaning them again as I type this. Chase got to dip his toes in the Atlantic and loved it, we walked through shallow pools of water and picked up TONS of shells. It was a little chilly, but very fun!!

The Tool Boxes

Kelton showing off the latest presents, the coolest tool box that is also a tool bench and Chase got a tool box with a bunch of screws and wood, and we are happy boys!!!

Thanksgiving Day and Day-After

Boys playing with their TOOL gifts on Thanksgiving Day

Chase slept most of the day away- recovering, so Kelton got to decorate Grandma's little tree. Beautiful Job Buddy!

Day-After Thanksgiving, Chase is finally eating! Yay!!!

I don't have a baby anymore! You are such a big boy!!! Ate the whole bowl all by yourself!

Disney World, Animal Kingdom 11-20-07

Luckily we didn't have to wait but 3 minutes to take this picture, and Chase was sleeping- didn't want to wake the sick one (had sores in the mouth and teethig 3 teeth, it was horrible).

Pregnant ones couldn't go on this ride, so there aren't many pictures.

Outside the big "tree of life" from the Bug's Life 3D experience. The boys LOVED it!

Kelton and his Mickey. Chase of course got a ball, what else. They were so beat, that they passed out. Chase was still cranky from the sores in his mouth, but got some chicken and ate TONS since he barely ate anything all day. What fun!!!!!

St Augustine: 11-17-07

Kelton and Daddy went on top of the fort to see the cannon get shot off by men dressed as Spanish Soilders of the time, Kelton called them pirates.

Coming out of the fort onto the draw bridge while Daddy went with Grandpa to quickly purchase a small cannon for the boys. Just waitin'.....

Chase was trying to sleep, but got woken up by sitting in the sun here...oh well. The boys on the second draw bridge into the fort. This was the 10th built in the same spot, but in the 1500's, took over 20 yrs to build and it was built from the shells, sand and concerte. It was so spongey that cannon's would bounce off it's walls. This was pretty cool.

Mommy and Marie on the streets of St. Augustine watching the lighting ceremony and just talking, what they do best! We sure miss you!

The "love tree", legend says that you kiss under it, and your love will last forever, there was a palm tree in the middle of an oak tree. One tour guide even "gaurenteed" the love would last, we thought that was funny. Interesting though- this oak just grew right around the palm.

11-16-07 Presents!

Grandma and Grandpa have been giving a gifts while we have stayed here to see the boys open them up and enjoy them. This was the first day we were here in Jacksonville! Food for the kitchen!

HALLOWEEN

Halloween was great!

Kelton dressed up like a cowboy and Chase was a race car driver. Jake was out-of-state working, and attending his grandmother's funeral, and so we were on our own...which means we were with Grma and Grpa Choffin and fam. up in Rexburg. It was fun, and the outfits were cool. We attended their Trunk-or-Treat and Kelton ran out of gas about half way through while Chase thought that random strangers putting candy in his helmet basket was the coolest thing ever! The best thing about the night was that it was warm! Yeah! It hasn't been warm for Halloween in YEARS! But it was nice not have to the boys bundled so much they couldn't move!

I will be posting pictures soon, I promise! I just have to get them from my mom's camera! We finally got our back from being fixed, so we'll be posting again really soon! The boys are growing super quick...and the holidays are going to be a blast this year!

The boys and Max

Max, our puppy.

The boys with Max before we gave him away- it was a hard day! They LOVED Max, who was the most patient dog when it came to getting "birthday's" from Kelton and everything from being sat on, to pulled around, to played with. We miss you buddy!

Chase being a ham for the camera! :)

This is his smile when you say, "SMILE!"

Kelton's JoySchool Song

Kelton's Joy School Song, This is how the song goes,
"Oh boy, I've got Joy, I do I do.
I starts in my heart, and spreads to my head in a minute or two
and did you know, it can grow on my toes and make my
knees, so they don't freeze,
It feels so neat, from my head to my feet
I've got joy! I've got joy!"

March 2007- Painting New House

I found these on my mom's computer...so thought I would add 'em!
This was the end of March, and we all got together and painted the house! The builder was just going to leave it white, so we figured before the carpet got in, we might as well take advantage of the ability to spill and it not be a big deal, and so we all got it done! This is what family is for! Thank you to everyone for your help! Even those that watched the babies, it is SO appreciated!
Mom and Vanessa in the kitchen trying to finish it all up! :)

Dad and his amazing skills to the ceiling- that's one steady hand!

September!

So,

Lindsay had her baby, a baby girl on August 30th @ 3:19 am. Her name is Rylin Paige Payne...and is SO cute! We are finally cousins, an aunt and an uncle! Chase and Kelton LOVE her and always want to hold her! It gives us hope for this new little one.

We found out, we are having a baby girl! We are figuring her name will be Taelin, or Shaelee. I guess it will depend on what she looks like! :)

We visited Wisconsin over Labor Day and really had a great time visiting Jake's grandma who is sick, but actually feeling better. We love you Grandma-Great!

Well, we are finishing our yard and putting in a fence this weekend, then curbing and grass! Yahoo! Next summer will be so much fun! Well, I have to run and get dishes done before Chase wakes up, as soon as my camera is fixed, I will add some more pictures!!!

Just chillin' in Idaho

Hey all,

So, for this past week, we went camping (well, the boys and Vanessa) and then Jake came up for the weekend. The boys seriously had SO much fun! It was nice to find an amazing camp ground finally, we knew there would be one here somewhere...we just weren't really too impressed with Yellowstone, especially after being spoiled in Washington with Lake Cushman so close and gorgeous!

Jake is still working at the "site", as they all call it around here, as a safety refueling engineer. We're working on still getting him out of that job and into this Real Estate full time. The college in June was amazing, and we're planning on returning as soon as we can. We both learned so much and have been able to put things to use now.

I am now 20 weeks pregnant, and we are going to go to have our ultrasound on the 27th of the month, but we're still not sure if we're going to find out what the sex is. Kelton and Chase were surprises, and it was fun- so I'm pretty sure that we'll do that. Jake wants to know if it's a girl, but it kinda doesn't work that way- so we'll keep everyone posted. We're trying to figure out more interesting boy names, but we think we've settled on Ty (probably tyrone for dad) for a boy and Shaelee for a girl.

We are currently putting in our yard, and that is going slowly since we had to wait on the city to come out and spray where everything was plumbed (gas, electric, etc.) so that when we dig, we don't have to replace everything. But, I have faith that we will be able to see grass at least by next spring! :)

Well, I have two sleeping boys, so I'd better head off and do "productive" things while I have a minute. Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the rest of the summer!!!

Warm River Camping- Fishing with the kids

Kelton and Talea "Jumping" everywhere across the alligators that were all around them! :)

Chase was SO mad that he couldn't go into the water when he wanted! The water was SO cold! Just us chillin' right by the campsite. It was nice, the kids didn't get too close by themselves.

AUNTIE TALEA FISHING- KELTON SHARED SO WELL!

CHASE AND AUNTIE BOOBOO TRYING TO FIGURE THINGS OUT! :)

KELTON SERIOUSLY FISHED FOR 8-9 HOURS THE FIRST DAY WE GOT THERE. HE CAUGHT HIS FIRST FISH THE NEXT DAY WITH UNCLE RYUN'S POLE AND CHASE GRABBED IT AND THEN GO GROSSED OUT! IT WAS HALARIOUS! KELTON LOVED WATCHING THE FISH COME IN AND THEN GET LET GO!!!
