Has anyone ever had that day where things just seem to downward spiral from the minute you wake up and then before you know it you're in survival mode and all of a sudden stop caring about anything that isn't life threatening?
That was my last week and leading into my Saturday. Wew, Jacob has been sick, so home some of the time, and coming home from work early and being wasted and exhausted to do anything but sit and play the Wii (to help keep his mind off things).
Taelin is teething...
but nothing has cut through, so just awnry, wanting me, sleeping for hours at a time, or not wanting to sleep at all the next minute. Happy happy, grouchy grouchy, its like a woman on pms, that doesn't know what they want but Tylenol. Her nose is running...and she only wants me.
Kelton is actually doing good,
except his need to constantly argue and decide for himself when it is time for him to do something that I have asked. Just 4 yr. old stuff....and his emotions seem to be all over the place lately, but that might be from our new schedule with pre-school.
Chase, his poor kid.
Fell off the garage steps onto his head when trying to put on shoes on the stairs...bonk #1; somehow either tried to get on my bike (that has a seat for him on the back) or bumped it, because it fell on him and he was trapped underneath, bonk #3 and #4; was running at my mom's neighbors house and tripped (not sure how) into a closet and bite open his bottom lip, cut on outside of mouth and gums, bonk #5. This poor kid has had such a rough week, we are considering putting him in a bubble! Maybe he's growing and that's why he's falling all the time!
So, that is why I went on survival mode.
Not even taking into consideration all of their breathing treatments, medications needed, dry itching skin or allergic reactions. Ahhh...so Saturday I was so on survival mode that I was simply trying to feed them all, keep them from fighting and get done everything that I had to do with Jacob being sick, and starting school (last Monday), my YW calling, and all the rest of the "mommy" things that have to always get done.
Oh, and the crumbs in my earrings? Yeah, Lindsay (my sister) found one while I was trying shoes on Kelton on Saturday....I figured that just kinda summed up my day. Who gets cracker crumbs in their earrings????
See....sometimes blogs aren't only the happy gooey stuff, right?!?!?
